Academic Advising for New Students
New admitted freshman students
If you are a NEWLY admitted freshman student, there is mandatory academic advising you must complete in order to enroll in classes using ePAWS. This is to ensure that you are starting your college career off on the right foot!
First, you will need to review a copy of the New Student Advising Manual - you can pick up a copy at the Dean's Office (202 Ross Hall) during regular business hours or request one be mailed to you by sending an e mail to askcos@unr.edu.
After you have reviewed the New Student Advising Manual, please contact Christina Cho (cycho@unr.edu) to set up an advising appointment. Advising can be done in person, e mail or by phone.
